Launching a new law firm is a rare moment. It is the point where years of experience, long-term goals, and personal vision finally come together in a public way. When Ryan and Kylie Loya were preparing to introduce Loya Law to the Houston market, they wanted their photography to reflect the care, professionalism, and intention behind that decision.
I had previously worked with Ryan on new headshots, and when the firm became a reality, he reached out again so we could create a cohesive set of portraits for both him and Kylie, along with additional branding imagery to support their new website and marketing efforts.

We photographed the session primarily in my Downtown Houston studio, making full use of the space to create clean, polished headshots that feel authoritative and professional. The studio environment allowed us to maintain consistency across lighting and framing while ensuring both Ryan and Kylie felt comfortable and confident throughout the process.
To add depth and variety to the final image set, we also used several additional locations around my building. These spaces helped reinforce a refined, corporate tone that aligns well with a modern personal injury practice. We then stepped outside to a nearby park to capture more urban imagery, giving Loya Law a broader visual library that feels grounded, current, and approachable.

Everything about this session was designed to feel intentional and well considered. For Kylie’s portraits in particular, we brought in one of my trusted collaborators, Aleya of Freckle Face Makeup, to handle hair and makeup on site. Aleya has an incredible ability to help clients feel relaxed and confident before stepping in front of the camera, and that ease always shows in the final images.
Having professional hair and makeup as part of a headshot session elevates the entire experience. It removes uncertainty, streamlines the process, and allows clients to focus on how they want to present themselves rather than worrying about small details.
Throughout the shoot, Ryan, Kylie, and I were in constant conversation about their goals for the images, how the photographs would be used, and the impression they wanted to make on potential clients. These discussions shape everything from expression to posture to environment, and they ensure the final images function as true branding tools rather than just updated headshots.

The session was an absolute success from start to finish. Turnaround was intentionally fast so the Loyas could use their new images immediately, including at their firm launch party the following weekend. Having professional photography ready at launch allowed them to present a unified, confident image as they introduced Loya Law to the community.
The final collection provides a strong foundation for their website, marketing materials, and future outreach. The images are polished, cohesive, and aligned with the tone of a firm that is thoughtful about how it represents itself.

Loya Law is a Houston-based personal injury firm founded by Ryan and Kylie Loya. Built on experience, preparation, and a client-focused approach, the firm is dedicated to guiding clients through challenging moments with clarity and care.
As a husband-and-wife team, Ryan and Kylie bring both professionalism and a personal connection to their practice. Their branding reflects that balance, combining authority with approachability in a way that resonates with the people they serve.

For new law firms, first impressions carry lasting weight. Strong branding photography helps establish credibility early and signals professionalism from the outset. When potential clients encounter a firm for the first time, the visuals often set expectations before any conversation takes place.
Investing in intentional, high-quality photography gives firms like Loya Law the tools they need to stand out, communicate trust, and build confidence as they grow. Thoughtful imagery is not just an accessory to marketing, it is a core part of how a firm introduces itself to the world.
